A good 1999 California Cabernet Sauvignon should hold up for the 10th year anniversary. WW is more experienced with California cabs than I am so you could look at some of his posts under Cabernet Sauvignon. I would suggest staying with the Napa Valley (may be more "wines to keep" than the Central Coast for example) and with a winery that has a good history--maybe Beringer Knights Valley,
Robert Mondavi, Beaulieu, etc. The basic Napa cabernets can run $30-$50. If you get into something like Ridge Montebello or the "reserves" the cost can be $80 or $100. So probably stick with the basic cabernet from a Napa Valley winery.
