Pleasant Valley has the distinction of being the winery with U.S. bond no. 1. They were established in 1860. If your bottle is truly from 1873, the wine inside is trash. However, there may be some collector who'd want the bottle for its historical significance. Try putting it on eBay and see if anyone goes for it. I'd list it for maybe $300. Maybe you could write to the company that now owns the winery. Foodie might be able to help there.
