2002 Smoking Loon Viognier

[White Wine Lover]

I'm making progress as a novice! Based on a recommendation (I think it was from Innkeeper) for a varietal I might like in view of my preference for Pinot Grigio, Seyval Blanc & Chards, I tried a Viognier. The one I chose is referenced above. I took a sip and it was very "different" but I decided I liked it, and it was dry enough for me. I thought, "hmmm....pineapple!" So with no info on the bottle to that effect, I looked it up on the Web and discovered I was right! Pineapple! By George, I think I'm actually beginning to develop taste! That is just so cool when you actually start to discern the different flavors!
