HI, i am a white wine fan, dont really care for the dryness of reds. The problem is that i am going out to dinner at a very fancy place and i know i will order a steak. i would like a glass of wine with it and dont want to look like a fool. i have tried merlot and really didnt care for it (too dry-i think), although i have tried a white merlot and enjoyed it alot. is there a red wine that you would suggest to try?
edit: i have read about Beaujolais, is that really sweet?
