Hi DK 08 and welcome to the board. The most important thing in wine knowledge I know of is you're experience in tasting and cataloging wines. Wine knowledge isn't like math, history, or english but the accumulation of the many wines you catalogue in your memory banks and the ability to express the flavors expressed in those lovely beverages. Unlike most liquids, wines are so diverse that there is no known way to catalogue them except thru personal experience. Hopefully you've been accumulating this knowledge the last 20 years. WW
