Instead of websites, I would suggest that the best places to go visit are books. Some suggestions include wines for dummies, the wine bible, and many more that you will see already listed in this board ( a quick search will list them all).

If you still want to go to sites (free ones I'm assuming), I would suggest www.wineanorak.com, the BBR www.bbr.com site is also interesting but more cursory in nature and of course you could learn a lot from this site either by reading past posts or more importantly as your wine knowledge grows, to keep up and in practice with sites like this one.
