I am realy getting into trying different wines. I started about a year ago, only drinking Merlots. But sinse I have found this site, you all have got me trying different wines.
I read Stevebody's top ten lower cost wines, and have enjoied two so far (Pepper Wood Grove Syrah 1999 & he had suggested Vega Sindoa Table Wine 60/40 Tempranillo/ Merlot but I could only find it in 70/40). My guest realy enjoied the Vega Sindoa! Thanks SB.
Have poped the cork on a Firesteed 2001 Oregon Pinot Noir And have been sipping it for about an hour as I have been reading the post on the Board. It was recomended to me by a local wine shop. They also suggested an Osborne Solaz 1999 80/20 Tempranillo/Cabernet Sauvignon that I haven't opened yet. I do like the Firesteed, and would like your input on these wines.
Also I would like any more sugestions from The Board on different wines. Especialy white wines, as I haven't tried any yet. I am looking for something my wife might enjoy. Her idea of a good wine is Wild Vines! I have read about Riesling wines and thought she might like them, any suggestions?
Thanks
