Hi D-shade,

Is your Dad trying to like red wines? I'm just curious as to why you would by a white wine drinker red wine.

I think a nice, basic bottle that is easy for a white wine drinker to drink is Pinot Noir.

Villa Mt. Eden is really nice and won't break the bank.

As you know there are many price levels of wine. Can you tell us who much you want to spend? There are a lot of nice little wines for under $15.00 and some great wines that are pricey.

Little more info please!
