By far, the easiest way to keep wine, is with a can of Private Preserve Wine Preserve. Here is Chicago it will run approx. $8.00 and it lasts for a long time.

There are three things that wine doesn't like: Oxygen, Light and Heat. It's easy to control the latter two of the three but the first one is tough.

This is basically nitrogen in a can and although the can (in the store) will feel empty, it's not. When you spray the nitrogen into the wine it forces the oxygen out of the bottle and the nitrogen becomes an invisible layer.

This should help you keep the wines fresh until you can get around to drinking them again.
