Hi Roos, and welcome to the Wine Board. You may have a good friend indeed. If your 1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac is in good shape and has been kept in the right climatic conditions, you have a great and valuable wine. It is fully mature and ready to drink now, and will keep a few more years. It is currently retailing for around $500.00 per bottle. Must warn that for you, that is paper value. The actual value comes when you try to sell it. The legal way to go is at auction, and you may have some luck in that venue, again if the bottles are in good shape. Around here, we would rather drink wine, than sell it. Why not plan a very special event?
