Wine Spectator gave the wine 88 points which is at the top end of their Very Good scale.

Here are their tasting notes from about 5 years ago:

Impressive. Beautiful plum, berry, tobacco, cedar and toasted oak aromas and flavors, medium body and tannins and a succulent finish. Drinkable now.

I have not personal tasting notes on the wine. Maybe someone else here can give you some information that is more recent.
