Hi There! Welcome to the wineboard!

I would look for vintage charts on line. They will give you the year and the region. If you are not sure of the region you can google the wine. ie: Barolo = Piedmont, Italy. That wine might be fine but if you are going to open it then you will need to pour it very, very carefully because it will throw a lot of sediment.

As for selling them as Pinot said unless you can verify how and where they were stored properly most people won't buy them.
