Welcome back, LB! Sangria isn't a "classified wine", it's just a fruity wine drink made for summertime quaffing over ice. In Spain, it's usually made with cheap Tempranillo (Rioja), because the grape will lose all varietal character in the fruity mish-mash anyway (big emphasis on "cheap" there). Virtually any coarse red wine will do for making that kind of mixture.
