In addition to what Hotwine mentioned, there is the difference of grape varieties. Bordeaux is generally a Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot blend with other grapes (Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot) in lesser amounts. Burgundy is pinot Noir.
