I would also recommend "Adventures on the Wine Trail" by Kermit Lynch. He is arguably one of the best importers of French wine in the country. I can't remember the honor, but he was given a very prestigious award by the French Gov't, which is very high up and almost never bestowed upon a foreigner, for his work with French wine. Its not exactly in your perameters, but it is a wonderful look at his philosophy and dealings on the importation of wines from their source.

Truly a must read for anyone who has a passion for wine.
