This is my last question, at least until after Christmas.
I stopped at the wine shop across the river, to see what it was like.
I think you would all agree it was a nice set-up, low lighting, good enough to see by, but not glaring, low temp, workers had sweaters on for the slight coolness. Most of the bottles were lying down in racks, and there were slips on many section, grading the bottles, giving some input, nutty flavor, fruity, woody, and such. Prices ranged from $4 to $100.
I asked one of the workers for some help, and she was nice, suggested two different bottles, both Fetzer (Echo Ridge), one a White Zinfandel 2001, the other also 2001, but a Gewuiztraminer.
Told me that if those didn't work out, she would help me find a different type.
Also told me that they will be starting back up again after Christmas every other Friday wine tasting and to stop by then.

She mentioned something about a vaccumn sealer, that you use to take the air out of the bottle, lets the wine last longer but suggested I wait and see how I liked wine, before I buy something like that.
