I went to a luncheon in San Francisco one time put on by Moet that featured old vintages of their Champagne. One of the questions I put to their expert was about the value of old Champagnes and he said there's not much of a market for them, so he couldn't assign a value.

Apparently the collectors go after other types of wine when they're buying old vintages.

But have fun drinking it. Some of the older stuff we had was delicious.
