Need a Dry White wine to accompany sushi

I'm new to the Board, and I'm a red wine guy at heart. I've got a date with a wonderful woman and we're going for sushi. I asked her drinking preference and she has requested a "dry white" wine. HELP! I'm not entirely concerned with price, but I'm not trying to wow her with money, but would prefer to wow her with a wine that she could buy in the future if she enjoys it.
