Chardonnay tasting success

Thanks again to everyone for your wonderful suggestions. Even if i couldn't find the exact wine suggested,I used the examples to help me choose similar wines. I thought you might be interested in the chardonnays i chose.
Here goes...

Uh, as far as tasting notes goes...mine are kind of sparse. I will say that i was thoroughly unimpressed with the $40.00
Chard from Talley Vineyards. Maybe it needed some age? I dunno, it was medium to light bodied, very light golden color, and heavily oaked which dominated the fruit flavors. Was
there something subtle i missed? (possibly)Is it that i prefer unoaked chardonnays? (probably) But ultimately, I dunno.

I purchased all the wines in Delaware at either Moore Brothers or Total Wine on naamans road. (i live in philly, and try to avoid the PLCB as much as possible.)

The tasting went fantastically well. We did a blind tasting. I put each bottle in a numbered paper bag, pored from the hidden bottles and did a unveiling at the end. What Fun!
