1998 Balnaves, Coonawarra, The Blend ($15) (just about equal parts merlot, cabernets sauvignon and franc). This wine is ready to drink, and will fill your bill for considerably less than $100. The importer is in Bathesda, MD, so you should not have a problem finding it in your area.
