I was checking the WS site and they have an article on Sauternes and Barsac wines from the 'Yquem to some good values. I can't afford the 'Yquem or any of the ones that follow but I saw some good values with good reviews that I may go and picked up just to try them.

My question is, since this are very sweet wines I doubt that I can drink more than a couple of glasses, so I may need to save the rest for another day.

How long will an open bottle last of Dessert Wine? Would it be a couple of days as any other white wine or can it last longer as a Tawny Port for example?
