Clueless on wines, need help!

Hi, my name is Amanda, I am 19, nd I hope someone can help me. I have been working at a restaurant for over a year as a hostess and want to start serving. My boss refuses to let me do so until I learn anout our wines. I have no clue about them, and he is not willing to help. I was wondering if there was anyone that was willing to give me a brief description of the following red wines: Lorane Valley "Oregon" (Pinot Noir), Sonoma Creek (Pinot Noir), Clos Du Bois "Sonoma" (Merlot), Rutherford Hill (Merlot), and Markham "Napa" (Merlot).
