These are two "dry" red wines that are particularly food friendly. By dry, I mean they have a very low to nil residual sugar which is what makes most dessert wines sweet. These still taste sweet because they are very fruity but have a slightly dry finish.

Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages at about 10 bucks. It can be found in most grocery stores or walmarts.

1999 Georges Duboeuf Morgon Jean Descombes. This is a higher level beaujolais and is pretty common. It is around 12 bucks and very good.
