Hi Epic and welcome to the board. This is one of the most frequently asked questions on this thread. The general consesus is that there is, to a point, a definate relation of P/Q, or NOT. If you review the different threads and go back 100 days you'll find reviews of every imaginable varietal. The Best Buy/Real Deal thread will point you to some outstanding P/Q wines. Lots of good advice on the other threads (Cabernet, Pinot, Syray/Shiraz, etc.)about wines in all price points. If this answer seems oblique, believe me the question is one hard sucker to nail down. Keep on tasting till you hit the holy-grail. It be one fun trip. WW
