If you mean the parents of the high schoolers then they will be over 21. For a crowd you may want to go with inexpensive but tasty choices such as a chilled Riesling Kabinett or Spatlese (maybe from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region of Germany) or a Vouvray from France or a Viognier from France or California as a white. Consider a Bogle Merlot or Cline Zinfandel (both from California) as a red wine. Or you may want to go with white and red wines from the Sancerre region of France (only slightly more expensive than some of the other choices.)
