A few wine web sites to look at while you're waiting for your books to arrive, all have good amounts of info and several pictures:
< http://www.washingtonwine.org/index2.html> Wines of Washington State, USA
<http://www.oregonwine.org/> Wines of Oregon State, USA
<http://www.chiantinet.it/> Offical Chianti (In Italy) web site
<http://www.wineinstitute.org/> Lots of info on wine, mostly from California
< http://www.bordeaux.com/flash.html> Wines of Bordeaux, France
And <http://www.wineaustralia.com.au/> Wines of Australia
The web can be a great starting off point, but do buy some books for more in depth info, and for handier reference. Kathy
