I agree with the Pinot Noir but also, if you prepare duck with a sweet or sweet/sour sauce you can pair it with a fruity Risling or a fine Gewurztraminer.

Mostly, I try to be general about the producers but here I see NY in your screen name, so maybe you can get your hands on some good NY Rieslings: Glenora, Dr. Frank's, Fox Run, Prejean. For NY Gewurztraminer: Prejean, Dr. Frank's, Standing Stone.
