I was surprised to read in the Chardonnay board that many experts aren't real fans of Chardonnay.

While my wife and I drink reds primarily, we love our summer Chardonnay ( we live in Monterey County, CA). We especially love very buttery Chardonnays and drink Lockwood Chard as kind of our house white wine. We'll also splurge once in a while and pop some Talbott Chardonnay which we absolutely love.

Question: Are there other whites that provide that real buttery taste without as much oak?
