good wine for my Father for Christmas

If he likes to eat with his wine, it would be reasonable to get a food friendly wine. One we particularly like right now is Easton, California, Barbera ($18.00). It is available from www.wine.com , where there are other Christmas suggestions. This is an emanately quaffable wine that can be sipped in the afternoon, or married with a wide variety of foods.
