Let me get this straight:

A couple of years ago, you opened a bottle and it turned out to have gone bad - "after it was exposed to the air for a few minutes, it turned on us".

So now, since you are worried that the wine you got for free might not be fit to drink, you want to sell these potentially bad bottles of wine to unsuspecting consumers? In this way, they get to suffer your disapointment and you will get to enjoy their money?

Have I got it right? If not please clarify.
