All chardonnay is divided into two camps. There is the oak camp and there is the unwooded camp. Go out an buy a bottle of your local Oregon Lorane Valley Chardonnay, and a bottle of Forest Glen Chardonnay. Chill and open them both with light cheese and crackers. Always try to taste wine with food whenever possible. Let us know which wine you preferred. This will determine whether you are an oakaphile or an oakaphobe. Then we can recommend wines according to the camp you elect to be in.
