Hi leex, and welcome. I would recommend starting out simple and inexpensively from the sound of things. But first, you need to find out what kind of wine you like. I would recommend trying some inexpensive "Chianti's" for starters.... they can be had for around/ under $10. They are easily found just about anywhere. One of my fav's is called Montecello, and you can pick up a magnum (double bottle) for around $13 if you have a friend or two to share it with. You could also look for a red "Rosso" table wine from Italy in the same price range, but you might have to seach a little. Hope this helps. Good luck!
