Well, I guess my hoosier heritage has come through. Tonight I enjoyed an Oliver 2004 Shiraz reserve, 18.00ish at the winery. Must be made with Ausi recipe' I guess to be called shiraz instead of syrah, but..started it out with DQ take out. A surprisingly nice combo with the thick fries,(not so great with the carryout out cheeseburger but still having fun with it. The wine is really nice, deep ruby, earthy chocolaty nose with dark fruit.fruit and spice both mild with a lingur+ing finish of raspberry\cherry. smooth mild tannins, only a 1.5-2.0 lap finish. Good quaffing wine WP
