Hi There!

Welcome to the Wineboard.

A simple way to remember temperature is white is cold, red is warm. Think electricity wherein as white is cold and black is hot. Trying to make it simple here.

For now, not for always, with food. Light with light and dark with heavy. Meaning - white wine with fish, chicken, light meats or pastas with oil or clear sauce.

Red with red meat, dark meat or pasta with dark sauce.

Again, this is just for now. When you are more acquainted with wine you will start to understand more. I'm just trying to keep you from feeling silly on a hot date!

What kind of wine do you drink? Do you drink wine? If you can tell us what kind of wine you normally like, we can make food recommendations to help guide you.

Hope that helps.
