Yea I would have to agree with them in regards to NOT use that wine. Traditionally a wine should be stored on its side, in order to keep the cork wet and the bad stuff [lol] out. Also keep in mind the temperature fluctutations will have messed with the maturing of the wine, so...I couldn't, in good faith, say take a chance on that particular wine.
