Luckily, I was able to restore his profile -- user name, password, etc. so he's OK.

As for why this happened. I can only tell so much. There was a posting in the Deals forum that was corrupted for some reason.... And it affected the user profile for Dananne.. This was the last post that he made and something went wrong. I can't tell if it was something he did inadvertantly, or something someone else did, or whether it was the server itself.

However, I am seriously looking for a better hosting company.... It's a big job to move but I am not happy with this server. As you say, too many glitches. I get nervous when this sort of thing happens. So someday soon, you will see the board shut down for a night (hopefully not more) so's I can move us all to greener pastures.

Any suggestions for good web hosting companies would be appreciated... I've worked with quite a few and havn't found the ideal one yet.
