I believe that we've set the board so that no one's email address is actually visible, even if you so opt.

There are just too many spammers out there sweeping up email addresses and we didn't want to contribute to all the junk mail that everyone gets so much of these days.

We never send out junk mail ourselves and have run only a very few email campaigns to our registered users, when we had something special to offer or communicate.

I'd rather error on the side of being conservative in preserving our members' privacy. Hope you understand.
