wine of the month gifts

My sister, who is always meaning to improve her knowledge of wine, bought a huge wine rack last year that has remained nearly empty. I would like to get her a wine of the month gift, but there are quite a few out there. Which is the best? i.e. Which selects good, occasionaly hard to find, but very good wine?
