KC, you were right. I was on the big island for all of one day. I had flown there (Hilo) from Honolulu for just one day to visit Kilauwea Volcano National Park. I flew in Saturday morning......during a tropical depression (can we say bumpy flight..ugh. I hate those). I should've looked at weather.com first as Sunday was beautiful.....ahh...

None the less, spent most of the day hiking in the park (it is not as easy as I thought with the very rocky surface) but at the end of the day, the park rangers told me about the winery outside and the coffee planatation. I thought that it would be fun to visit the most southerly winery in the US before I headed back. So armed with directions, headed out of the park to the winery. When I got there...I was there with three other groups!!!

I tasted all six of their wines and bought two for curiosity sake. Then in Honolulu, went to the Ubiquitous ABC stores (I must have seen all 32 of them), and picked up a bottle of the Pineapple wine.
