**Bistro Jeanty and Bouchon are superb. In Calistoga Brannans' Grill and Wappo are sizzling.**

Ate at these. I liked Bistro Jeanty the least -- hot, NOISY, and crowded. Bouchon kept us standing outside 40 minutes past our reservation but brought two trays of oysters on the half-shell as a peace offering.
