Thanks HW,
for your advice and timely response. I bought the 1994 Larousse for $4.00. The seller said it's is very good condition and that he's selling it so cheaply because he's moving and doesn't want to lug stuff around.

Fair enough, right? His rating was unmarred.

ps. For anyone looking for good deals on used and out of print (wine) books I've found half.com to be a valuable resource. Of course, you have to weed through the career sellers and look for deals from regular folks just trying to get rid of stuff, but it can sometimes be really worth it. I've purchased many a wine book using this method.
