You should only be a hope skip and a jump away from La Jolla. Lots of restaurants and shops down the main draw. Remember, La Jolla was designed specifically to keep visitors out and thus the curving street design. You may want to keep a cab company phone number close to hand!

Nice place just to walk around. I would say that is a better place to go than downtown San Diego's old town district.
