The Willamette Valley is not that big. A central location should suffice for the entire visit.

The area does not take advantage of the potential tourist trade IMHO. Top-notch restaurants are just not found. Same for B&Bs. While you have a pletora of these in Napa and Sonoma, the Willamette Valley is a dry hole.

That said, the best B&B that we have stayed at in the area is the Springbrook Hazelnut Farm in Newberg, (800) 793-8528. Average.

The two best restaurants we have ate at are Red Hills in Dundee and Nick's Italian Cafe in McMinnville. Average.

If you get a chance to drop by Bucko's B&B, we'll treat you to a decent meal and wine.
