Never heard of stagionni, but from the description would go with one of the usual suspects - Chianti Classico, or maybe Ripasso or Amarone. Had '03 Familia Cara CC Riserva last night with lasagna, and '02 De Feudis Amarone a couple of nights ago, both drinking wonderfully.
