Funny KC...on the good side of that kind of weather, is that this is probably one of the few places in the country where you can simply put wine in the basement, and it will be fine year round.

But honestly, what made me scratch my head is that in the cooler months it tends to be much less humid (not that it's very humid at all here), and I'm certainly no weatherman, but my hands and face dry out really quickly in the winter time, so i figure the air must be dry, so my decanter should dry out too!

BUT! you have given me what I've been looking for, and that's the name of a good soap for washing the wine glasses. For the Decanter, I've honestly just been swirling water around before the wine drys and letting it sit upside down overnight. Bucko said that's what he does...
