Don't know this particular wine...but Malbec is the primary Bordeaux variety of Argentina, where it does very well. Because most of the vineyards are irrigated with high yields the wines don't have a reputation for being overly tannic. There's a pretty strong chance that your wine should be ready to drink...and it shouldn't have cost all that much in the first place. I'd pull the cork...in case you want to buy more.
