This Colorado wine was a gift delivered by daughter from her boyfriend. Had never tried a Lemberger before, so opened it tonight and served with brisket sandwiches and oven-fried garlic spuds. Hey, a nice surprise! Lots of lush berry fruit, spicey, black peppery, with soft tannins, a bit like a Gamay but more robust, and a little hotter at 14.5% ABV. From the Grand Valley appellation of western Colorado on East Orchard Mesa above Pallisade, CO. Hope I don't have to drive 1,000 miles to find more.
