Grey Monk is actually a Canadian winery located in the Okanagan region. It has a very loyal following with the locals and those who don't mind a bit of travelling to get to their wines. I've actually never tried it (one of those that I missed). There is US representation apparently for Texas and somewhere in the east.

The winery has a great breadth of products but the Rose tends to not be people's favorite part of the lineup. Regardless, still a decent bottle to try. If possible, go back and try their other wines too!

Actually Banff and Whistler are very popular spots from this side of the country too....though East Coasters think that if you can ski in the East (where it is mostly ice), you can ski anywhere.......

No East Coast equivalent to Blackcomb Whistler, but I really like Mont Tremblant regardless. Even nicer than Killington IMHO.
