Oh, how the boys do get riled at simple touch of a (computer) button! I have done just the NV Perrier-Jouet (about $32) with dark chocolate and raspberries, it was, very nice. The mood is more the thing then matching, so any good quaility sparkling wine will do,. You could try the Pacific Echo Blanc de Blanc (mid teens) or even St. Michelle at around $10 can work some magic. As for the aphrodisiac part, if you want, I have a recipe for pears in a port sauce, which IS considered an aphrodisiac (for the men!!!) in Portugal. K
