Freedom Hill is dark ruby in color, good fruit nose, flavors of ripe, dark berries. There are substantial tannins, but there is more than enough fruit to balance/buffer them. Good drinking now but with a nice future. Anyone know how the Temperance Hill and O'Connor compare with this wine?

The Willakenzie does not have the ripe year characteristics of the Freedom Hill. It's made in a more austere style which will, if the '97 is any indication, develop a silkier texture and more expressive flavors with a couple years in the bottle.
